Certification in accordance with Section 390 of the German Social Code, Book V (SGB V) by “Kassenärztliche Bundesvereinigung” (KBV, “National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians”) has been successfully completed.

The KBV’s personal certification is initially valid for three years and can be extended thereafter.

The KBV’s IT security guideline provides responsible practice owners with a reliable framework and guidance on what needs to be implemented in their practice in terms of IT security. The guideline specifies graduated requirement profiles for medical practices of different sizes and with different equipment. These range from sets of requirements for small practices to somewhat more complex sets of requirements for large medical care centers. In addition, separate requirements for large medical devices and requirements for decentralized components of the (national) telematics infrastructure are available, depending on their applicability in the respective context.

We are thus becoming a service provider that has been specifically certified with regard to the implementation of the requirements of the KBV’s IT security guideline.
